Woolhope Dome Market is normally held on the last Saturday of the month, between 10am and 12.30pm at Woolhope Parish Hall. Come along and buy locally produced baked goods, cheeses and confectionery, meat, sausages and pies, a range of arts and crafts products, plants and much more. If making new friends and enjoying yourself is your cup of tea then why not come along to the Woolhope W.I. which meets on the third Wednesday of each month in the Parish Hall at 7.30 p.m. New members are most welcome.
The programme varies with different speakers invited to talk on topics ranging from bee keeping to belly dancing and from local planning issues to the history of lingerie. The baking tradition is kept alive by providing delicacies for local events and great fun is had on our party night and on our summer outing. The W.I.is a very significant countrywide organisation which lobbies the Government of the day on serious issues such as the lack of midwives, organ donation and the decline of the honey bee to name but a few. Each year all W.I.s get a deciding vote on which issue will be taken to the government.
The county W.I. in Hereford organises excursions to the theatre, local walks, courses and even foreign holidays.
There is something for everyone. Why not give it a try?

The Gardening Club has a thriving membership and meets once a month (excluding January) for talks and visits to local gardens.
Talks are usually on the last Monday of the month in the meeting room at the Parish Hall, starting at 7.30 p.m. and cover a variety of topics. The Summer visits are always well attended and a great source of inspiration / admiration. Most visits are within an hour of Woolhope.
Everyone is welcome and there is just a small charge to cover the hire of the hall / speakers or to cover costs of garden entry.
There is an Annual Show which is open to those involved in the club plus everyone from Woolhope and the local area. It always brings a fine turn out of exhibits, from Sweet Peas to Runner Beans. It is held in Woolhope Hall toward the end of the Summer.
The annual Quiz night is held just before Christmas in support of a local charity.
